Fire extinguishers for Gujranwala Church

Caritas Pakistan Lahore handed over two fire extinguishers to the parish priest of St. Mark Church in Gujranwala.

“The safety equipment was arranged upon the request of the local priest. Facemask and IEC material was also distributed for protection of the worshippers from coronavirus,” said Rafiq Inayat (Project Officer CPL). The ceremony was held on April 24 during Focus Group Discussion on WASH survey with women was conducted at Mariam Siddiqa Town. 

Rev. Fr. Bernard Emmanuel (Parish Priest) and Ms. Suryia (Diocesan Secretary NCJP) were also present there. Before FGD, Mr. Rafiq also facilitated session on precautionary measures for saving from Corona Virus and demonstrated hand washing practice.
