EARTH DAY 2020 Message from Caritas Pakistan

As we observe the Earth Day amid Coronavirus pandemic, we have to be more responsible in the prevalent lockdown and care for our surroundings. The theme for Earth Day 2020 “climate action” reminds us to rethink our role as the caretaker of our mother earth.

Last year we celebrated the accomplishment of One Million Tree Plantation campaign by planting one million trees all over the country. This campaign started on December 14, 2016. With the endorsement of Catholic Bishops Conference of Pakistan, Caritas Pakistan has committed to continue “One Million More” Tree Plantation Campaign, which will proceed till 2023. Let us work together to care for our common home.
