COVID-19 Response continues nationwide

Caritas Pakistan Quetta distributed Covid-19 emergency kits on April 16 among 17 beneficiaries including the office staff and volunteers. Sharafat Shreef CPQ Executive Secretary explained the usage of health equipment and urged the staff to protect themselves and those around them.

CPQ volunteers are already distributing awareness pamphlets and giving awareness in Basti Panchayat and other areas of Quetta regarding prevention measure about Corona virus. Meanwhile Caritas Pakistan teams in different dioceses continue helping community members registering for Ehsaas emergency cash program.

 

Caritas Pakistan Islamabad-Rawalpindi team successfully helped 21people in District Khushab and 13 in District Sargodha people receive 12,000 rupees from government distribution centers. “Mostly people are facing difficulties clearance in biometric,” said Kamran Sattar Executive Secretary CPIR.

Caritas Pakistan team in Mohsinwal, Khanewal District, helped seven widows and poor families receive receive government aid. These included parents of students enrolled in our Non Formal Education Centres.
