Iftar meals shared with law enforcement agencies

Caritas Pakistan Karachi joined hand with several organizations to share Iftar with Law enforcement Agencies on May 3, 2020.

The objective of the Sharing of an Ifter was to pay highest regards to all our courageous officers who are our front line Heroes and playing their part in this time of need to Nation to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Its Our Foundation, Ahsas Insaniat Welfare Community Services, MasterPeace Karachi and Adventure Scouts Group joined Caritas in visiting different camps of the Law enforcement agencies and handing over 150 packets of Biryani and drinking water to polices and Rangers personal performing their duty amid lock-down in Karachi.

“We appreciate the idea to help securities personal who are unable to join their families in time for Iftar due to their duty to protect peoples from coronavirus. Ramadan is a propitious time for Christians to strengthen our relationship with Muslim brother by greeting and sharing meals,” said Mr. Mansha Noor, Executive Secretary CPK.

“We are thankful to Mr. Carl Sebastian Fernandez group Leader and whole team for joined us in today event on our request.”

Caritas staff also distributed Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Material on COVID-19 among the officers for their personal protection as well. Their hands were also senitized with spray during the distribution.
