Provision of COVID PPE, food in Hyderabad

A training on COVID-19 Control and Protection was held for Health Practitioners of St. Elizabeth Hospital Hyderabad and St. Teresa Hospital Mirpurkhas on July 11, 2020 under the COVID-19 response project of Caritas Pakistan.

Ten Personal Protective Equipment PPE kits (five each) were provided to both hospital administrations. 18 participants including Hospital Administrator, Doctors and Paramedical, CPH staff and Board of Director member of attended the training organized by Caritas Pakistan Hyderabad. Dr. Ramesh Kumar (Trainer) provided sessions while observing SOPs. The discussions focused on basics of COVID-19, global scenario, infection protection and control, risk and communication strategies and importance of use of Personal Protection Equipment.

CPH also distributed 275 Food Packages to vulnerable households affected by COVID-19 on 27 and 28 June 2020. Mr. Manshad Asghar Executive Secretary CPH joined his team for distribution at Larkana Parish and Sukkur Parish of Catholic Diocese of Hyderabad.
