Cash for work for lockdown affected in Muzaffargar

Caritas Pakistan Multan selected six daily wagers to repair roof of St. Michael School in District Muzaffargar (cash for work) under COVID 19 response program.

“Each person earns 600 rupees per day. According to plan, one person has to work for two days. They were jobless as the business slows down amid lockdown in Chowk Sarwar Shaheed,” said Mr. Samuel Clement Executive Secretary Caritas Pakistan Multan.

“The building needed repair as the government considers reopening schools. By one activity we are providing two days wages to one person and helping schools to fulfill SOPs.”
