Nutrition Kits for malnourished children in Karachi

Caritas Pakistan Karachi, under COVID-19 Emergency Response project, organized the distribution of nutrition kits among 25 less privilege children of Caritas Community School at Meer Khan Goth, area of St. Michael’s Parish of Karachi archdiocese.

The objective of July 6 distribution of Nutrition kits was to aware the school children about the healthily diet and important of nutrition in their daily food. The package included powdered milk, preserved /packaged juices, noodles, nutrition bars, energy biscuits and fresh fruits (Mango, apple, Bananas) to fight against the coronavirus.

“Energy deficit is considered the most relevant risk factor for illness and death, particularly in developing countries like Pakistan. This is a big challenge for both health authorities and aid agencies,” said Mr. Mansha Noor Executive Secretary Caritas Pakistan Karachi.
