Mangta (from Bethlehem colony, Mirphurkhas, Sindh) is a 12-years-old student studying in the sixth standard. The flood destroyed her houses and has badly affected her education. “It has been raining here for 2 months and we are unable to go to school” She said. She shared about her plan to go to hostel for studies but due to massive destruction in her house and bad condition of the area she won’t be able to join the hostel this year, which is painful for her.
She said “I want to study and do something for my community”. She is hoping to go back to school as situations get better.
