Mr. Mula Sumer (from Bethlehem colony, Mirphurkhas, Sindh) a blind and heart patient says “Ï have never seen such a devastating flood and its severe affects. I lost my eyesight 10 years ago and I also had a heart problem and it takes a big chunk of our earnings.” His house is badly damaged. The elder son who was managing all household expense passed away few months ago and they are struggling to meet daily expense. The flood is another source of misery for his family. His younger son works on daily wages and due to the unavailability of the work in the market he is unable to feed the family. He shared his fear of being affected by Malaria and dengue fever due massive increase of mosquitos.
