INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS DAY IN SHEIKHUPURA

Caritas Pakistan Lahore (CPL) celebrated International Volunteer Day with the theme “Volunteer for an Inclusive Future” at Habib Colony district Sheikhupura on 5th December 2019.

Mr. Waqas Ilyas (Social mobilizer CPL) briefed about introduction of Caritas Pakistan and its Volunteer Management System. Ms. Zarish Yaqoob – Project Officer CPL facilitated a session on importance of volunteerism and encouraged them to actively participate to help others for the formation of healthy society. Mrs. Afshan and Mr. Daim Masih shared their experiences of working as volunteers with Caritas Pakistan and thanked Caritas for enabling them to work for the community betterment.

Mr. Khurram and Ms. Zarish appreciated the services of volunteers and handed over shields to volunteer in recognition of volunteer services for the organizational work. A cake cutting ceremony was also carried out during this event.
