Food hampers for rain and flood affected victims in Karachi


In response to Heavy Rain & Urban Flood Emergency, Caritas Pakistan Karachi with support of Robin Hood Army Pakistan distributed 198 food packages among the most vulnerable families of St. Thomas’s Parish and St. Michael’s Parishes of the Archdiocese in Karachi on 6th of September.


The Food hampers were given by Robin Hood Army Pakistan on the request of Caritas Karachi for the communities affected by six spells of heavy rain and urban flood in seaport city. Mr. Mansha Noor, Executive Secretary CPK thanked the Robin Hood Army and his team for supporting families of Shahbaz Goth, Mir Khan Goth and Layri Sector 35 of district Malir, Karachi.

On Sept. 14, CPK also distributed food hampers, non-food item (NFI) water Cooler and water bucket at Saleh Muhammad Goth, Bilawal Jokhi Goth and Bhanis Colony areas of St. Thomas’s Parish of the Archdiocese in Karachi with support of Nobel Foundation and coordination of Robin Hood Army Pakistan.

The teams distributed 65 food packages given by Nobel Foundation through networking of Robin Hood Army Pakistan. Fr. Anthony Abraz, Parish Priest of St. Thomas’s Parish thanked Caritas for the support.
