Emergency Response Kits for DMC
communicationCaritas Pakistan Karachi handed over the Emergency Response kit to Disaster Management Committee members of Shahjanabad to recuse and save lives during flood disaster. The event held under Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRM) Project addressed needs during urban flooding and heavy rain in their respect area.
Mr. Mansha Noor, executive secretary advised Disaster Management Committee members to use the Emergency kits to mitigate and prevent natural disasters, as well as prepare communities during emergencies.”DMC members are our front line heroes in disaster management for saving people and their belongings by creating awareness and building their capacities to cope with disasters,” he said.
