COVID-19 food distribution, awareness program: CPL update

Caritas Pakistan Lahore distributed nutrition kits among children living in a “bhatta” (brick-kiln) of Sheikhupura. National Executive Director, Mr. Amjad Gulzar along with CPL team handed over the nutrition kits among children on July 09, 2020.

All of them help their families in making bricks at the kiln. Mr. Khurram also facilitated psychosocial support session with children and their families. CPL also held an awareness session on COVID-19 at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Hafizabad Road, Gujranwala. Mr. Rafiq Inayat (Project Officer) conducted an introductory meeting with Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ahmed (Parish Priest) and pastoral team of the parish on July 13. He also distributed IEC material. Awareness programs were also planned in the parish.
