Caritas Team visited Research Center of Irrigation Department

Field Research Center of Punjab Irrigation Department at Babukwal, Kala Khatai Road, Lahore was visited by Mr. Amjad Gulzar (Executive Director) and team of Caritas Pakistan Lahore (CPL) on October 26, 2019. The visiting team explored installed models of Irrigation Systems and weather monitoring system. They also witnessed the trees planted in premises of the center, earlier this year and also planted more trees contributing “One Million Tree Plantation Campaign”.

Moreover, the understanding was developed with government officials for exposure visit of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Agriculture teams to see the practices of pre and post flood disasters that are being carried out in irrigation system of the research center.
