Awareness session on Smog in Sheikhupura

An awareness session on rice crop and smog was organized at village Nangal Sahdan, Tahsil Muridke, District Sheikhupura in collaboration with Government Agriculture Department on August 22, 2020. Mr. Malik Farooq (Agriculture Officer – Muridke) briefed about Kissan registration Card and its benefits for small farmers.

Mr. Muhammad Khalid Khan (Assistant Director – Agriculture Department Muridke) explained how the small farmers could protect their rice crop from diseases and pests, maximize their yield, causes of smog and how could farmer play their constructive role to control smog.

Mr. Muharram Ali (Agriculture Manager from TAJ food company) shared this success story of practicing organic farming and shared different methods of cultivating crops with minimum chemicals. Mr. Khurram Shahzad (Project officer) coordinated this awareness session with the assistance of Mr. Waqas Ilyas.
