World Cotton Day 2025 – Caritas Pakistan Multan

Caritas Pakistan Multan Team celebrated World Cotton Day 2025 with the farmer community of UC Fatehpur, Tehsil Alipur, District Muzaffargarh under the REEL Regenerative On-Demand Project on October 11, 2025. The global theme for this year’s celebration was “Cotton 2040: Technology, Climate & Competitiveness.” Prominent stakeholders from civil society, including Mr. Sana Ullah (President, Aliwali Welfare Organization) and Mr. Shuaib Rasheed (Veterinary Doctor), also participated in the session.

To mark the occasion, participants engaged in a tree plantation activity, symbolizing their collective commitment to environmental sustainability and community-driven climate action. The celebration served as an opportunity for farmers to exchange knowledge, learn from experts, and reaffirm their dedication to sustainable cotton farming.
