GRADUATION CEREMONY NCDC 2016 FIRST BATCH
1st Batch National Community Development Course (NCDC) 2016
Caritas Pakistan successfully one month” National Community Development Course” NCDC 2016 from 20 June to 20th July 2016 with 22 graduates at National Secretariat. The graduation ceremony of NCDC was held on July 22, 2016 at Renewal Center, Lahore. Graduation ceremony was honored by Archbishop Joseph Coutts (Chairman Caritas Pakistan), Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw (Deputy Chairman Caritas Pakistan), Bishop Benny Mario Travas (Bishop of Multan Diocese), Caritas Pakistan Board Members, Diocesan Executive Secretaries, and Caritas Pakistan National Secretariat Staff.
The NCDC covered six modules; Social Mobilization & Development, Project Designing, Management & Reporting, Leadership & Conflict Management, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Resilient Communities, Community Based Learning Exposure (District Sialkot & Narowal), Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL).
Archbishop Joseph Coutts, Archbishop Sebastian Shaw, Bishop Benny Mario Travas and Mr. Amjad Gulzar, Executive Director, Caritas Pakistan shared their views and congratulated the graduates for successful completion of Community Development Course.
Ms. Fouzia Columbus, Mr. Raja Imran and Shahid James (NCDC Participants) shared their learning experiences after completing the course and thanked Caritas Pakistan for organizing an important course on community development.
The guests also visited and appreciated the efforts of NCDC 2016 participants who exhibited models based on climate change, Community development and rural development. All Participants of the 1st Batch of NCDC 2016 were awarded the certificates and Caritas Souvenir.
