One Million More Tree Plantation Campaign in Karachi

Caritas Pakistan Karachi under their ongoing “One Million More Tree Plantation Campaign” organized the awareness sessions with teachers and students of the Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal School, Tiasar Town, Karachi on 25th of March, 2021.
Mr. Mansha Noor Executive Secretary CPK taught the method of how to plant a tree by consuming less water. He urged each student to plant a tree of his / her name and then it will be her or his responsibility to water her name tree and to look after that tree.
 
He further said that tree planting exercise is a learning opportunity to get you involved in the environment and conservation of our natural resources. Recent scientific studies suggest students are better able to concentrate, complete tasks, and follow directions after playing in natural settings. Trees provide clean air and water as well as help in moderate temperature and muffle noise.
 
Ms. Shazia Aslam (Principle of School ) thanked Caritas Pakistan Karachi for choosing their school for their ongoing campaign “One Million More Tree Plantation Campaign ”. She also appreciated the efforts of Caritas in regards Awareness of Tree Plantation among the students and teachers.
 
The present student and Teachers planted their own name trees with Mansha Noor, Executive Secretary and promised to take care of their trees to fight against Climate Change to save Mother Earth for future generation. Let’s Greener Karachi, Plant Tree to Save Mother Earth.
