Community Resource Center for smallholder Farmers inaugurated at Ahsan Raza Goth

 
Caritas Pakistan Karachi under their Smallholder adaptive Farming Project inaugurated Community Resource Center (CRC) for the smallholder farmers of Ahsan Raza Goth on 7th of June, 2021. The objective of the Community Resource Center was to provide the common place to local farmers where farmers come and sit together to discuss their issues and problems.
 
Mr. Mansha Noor, Executive Secretary of Caritas Pakistan Karachi said that the objective of the Community Resource Center (CRC) was to create opportunities for local smallholder farmers to share experiences and to receive technical guidance and services that are tailored to their livelihood needs.
 
He further said that the Community Resource Center is place of access of knowledge, interactive learning, and networking among farmers and between farmers and other actors. Smallholder Farmers are encouraged to learn how to do their own testing, adopt successful technologies, and extend them to their fellow farmers.
 
Mr. Raza Burfat , President of Ahsan Raza Goth Farmer Group thanked to Caritas for established the Community Resource Center (CRC) for smallholder farmers living in remote villages of Gadap Town to sit together to share their issues and problems. The Community Resource Center will helpful for small farmers to receive guidance and services for the improvement of their agriculture practices.
