Caritas Pakistan urges to take actions

Caritas Pakistan on annual pilgrimage at National Marian shrine arranged a tree plantation stall at Mariamabad where His Grace Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw, Rev.Fr. Bernard and Mr. Amjad Gulzar (Executive Director Caritas Pakistan) and staff members from Caritas Faisalabad and Caritas Lahore planted trees at parish house.

“We have collectively and practically showed care at Ziarat-e-Mariamabad by planting trees. I wish that Caritas Pakistan reach beyond its target. I urge people to take action and to be a part of million tree campaign” by His Grace Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw.

A total of 1200 saplings and 5000 seeds were distributed among people belonging to different regions but united by faith on 7 September.

“I am pleased that Caritas Pakistan team and volunteers are making efforts for better environment by planting more trees and join Caritas Pakistan million tree plantation campaign,” said Mr. Amjad Gulzar
