Volunteer Day in Pasrur: Caritas Pakistan appreciates Volunteerism

Caritas Pakistan team Lahore brought up around 170 volunteers in village Chahoor, Officer Abdul Sittar from Forest Department, Rescue 1122 team and Caritas Pakistan National office staff on International Volunteer Day. The event honored and appreciated the commitment and dedication of volunteers for saving humanity and building resilient community.

Mr. Abdul Sattar defined the role of forest department and volunteers in adaptation of climate change and admired Caritas Pakistan million tree plantation campaign. Mr. Hamad (Station Incharge) encouraged the volunteers and acknowledged the services of Caritas Pakistan, providing with the techniques of disaster preparedness and assured Caritas Pakistan of the support in future.

Mr. Naeem Naz thanked the first respondents for devoting their time to Caritas Pakistan and the humanity. Mr. Javed Nino (Community Mobilizer) said Caritas Pakistan will be there in any situation for the development and well being of the community.
