Cooked Food and Drinking water for flood affected

Caritas Pakistan Karachi distributed Mutton Biryani (rice dish) and 06 litter mineral water bottle to 150 families affected by rain and urban floods on 20th of August, 2020 at Yousaf Goth area of St. Michael’s Parish of Archdiocese of Karachi.

The food was provided by the JDC Welfare organization and 6 litter mineral water bottles were donated by Ms. Poonam Shahzad, a friend of Caritas Pakistan. JDC volunteers joined Caritas staff for the distribution.

“Disaster Management Committee (DMC) of Yousaf Goth had requested Caritas for urgent support of cooked food and drinking water for rain affected families. The Emergency Response team (ERT) of Caritas is engaged in further resource mobilization. We thanks Zafar Abbas, General Secretary JDC and Ms. Poonam for the support,” said Mr. Mansha Noor Executive Secretary Caritas Pakistan Karachi.
