Orientation Workshop for Education Promotion and Youth Development
communicationA project orientation meeting on “Caritas Initiative for Education Promotion and Youth development” was organized on 30th January, 2021. Around 20 participants from four diocesan units gathered at Caritas Pakistan National Secretariat, Lahore and rest of three diocesan staff members were present through virtual means as a precautionary concern of COVID-19 situation.
The purpose of the meeting was to set the directions to be followed in project duration and chalking out the plans for successful implementation in targeted areas of five of the Catholic diocesan units including Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi, Hyderabad and Quetta through establishment of Caritas Community schools and organizing Youth development activities.
Mr. Samuel Clement (Executive Secretary CPM) and Mr. Kamran Sattar (Executive Secretary CPIR) shared the methodology of their education project. Mr. Aneel Mushtaq (Executive Secretary CPF) and Mr. Naeem Naz (Diocesan Program Coordinator CPL) also shared their experiences of same projects.
Ms. Sana Komal (Education Project Officer) shared briefings, activities and implementation strategies of the project including roles and responsibilities of the Project staff members including teachers, Center management teams (CMT) and District Taleemi bethak (DTB). “A special thanks to diocesan staff members and management for their effective participation”.
