Mock drill with Rescue 1122 in Multan

Caritas Pakistan Multan jointly with Rescue 1122 Participated in Annual Mock Drill Organized by District Government Muzaffargarh on June 11, 2021 at bank of River Chenab. Mr. Ali Shahzad, Deputy Commissioner, District Muzaffargarh was the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by ADC Revenue Muzaffargarh. Caritas Pakistan Multan team of Volunteers and Members of ERT of 5 DMCs participated in the leadership of Mr. Amir Yaqoob, Program Coordinator DRR. Honorable DC appreciated all departments, schools and civil society organization for their active role and participation in mock drills.

Mr. Amir Yaqoob briefed that DRR is our main thematic area and we are building Disaster Resilient Communities in Disaster Prone Districts in South Punjab particular. He also briefed that we have strong networking with district departments. He also offered that our volunteers along with the equipment they have for search and rescue will be available to District Government in case of any emergency situation.
