One Million More Tree Plantation Campaign 2016 – 2019
The Importance of Forests and Trees
Forests and trees are the backbone of the economy, but forests in Pakistan are shrinking due to deforestation, leaving an adverse impact on the environment. Trees help to conserve soil and water, control avalanches, and prevent natural disasters.
