Awareness and guidance campaign against COVID-19

Caritas Pakistan Karachi (CPK) organized the awareness session on novel coronavirus at St. Joseph Church, Leely Town of St. Thomas’s Parish of Archdiocese of Karachi on 14th of March, 2020.

More than 50 community members were aware to protect themselves from deadly virus. They were urged to use tissue paper while sneezing and coughing and discard it immediately, or sneeze in the inner side of their elbow and to avoid traveling to crowded places and to wear mask for outdoor activities.

“Corona is a silent attacker so it is need of the hour that we should follow the precautionary instructions and to circulate it to other community members by following actionable goals of 3Ps i.e. to protect yourselves, to protect your loved ones and to protect your community” said Mr. Mansha Noor (Executive Secretary of CPK).

The informative handouts of symptoms and protection from coronavirus were also distributed among all the participants so the information could be spread further.
